10 Posing tips for a Flawless Performance on Stage

There are so many tips I could give you that would be unique to you as an individual but here are a few that apply to everybody so I’m going to share them below, let me know if you think there are any other tips that work for you I haven’t included in here.

  1. Always practice in your heels - the feeling in your heels is so much different than trainers and the balance is much harder so you need to get it nailed in your stage shoes

  2. Get a practice pair of heels and a show day pair - your practice pair will get wrecked and you don’t need to worry about if you have a stage pair too.

  3. Stretch - if you want to really push them glutes back or rotate well in your side shots the only way to achieve this is to stretch daily

  4. Start early - posing is much much harder than you think so don’t neglect it and get started well before you start prep

  5. Book in sessions with your posing coach as often as you can and need to get it looked over and don’t get into any bad habits

  6. Don’t listen to outside noise just because Sarah at the gym poses a certain way doesn’t mean you should pose the same as her you need to pose for your physique.

  7. Show your personality with your posing - use arm movements and transitions that both suit your physique but also your personality we shouldn't all be posing the same thats boring show your unique flow

  8. Practice - this one should go without saying but start to build posing practice into your daily routine.

  9. Practice when your tired - either post workout or post cardio if you can perform at your feeling your worst when your on stage you will be find it much easier

  10. Practice in front of people - this will help build confidence and stop worrying about other people watching you when on stage, the more we put ourselves in uncomfortable situations when we practice the easier stage will seem.

Bonus one is just to have a laugh with it put on music you love and makes you feel powerful break it up with a little dance and practice with friends, try stuff out and overall just have fun!
